Incredible! I love the ship traffic; the detail on each vessel is impressive. The base itself is a true wonder- I'd love to zip around that thing for a bit in my ol' T-65. Even the lit buoys look nice.
The dark background and distant galaxy give a nice deep-space feel, and the dim lighting reinforces that effect. This is a space station where space stations belong!

All models are built in Maya. Scene gathered together in Bryce. Background and final effects were produced in Photoshop. Nothing special ...

did you do textureing in maya and some how transfer it to bryce or is the texturing done in bryce as well?

In Maya, I asked the texture coordinates, in Photoshop I was preparing a file textures in Bryce textured objects and asked additional properties. Few boring, huh? But I felt so comfortable.
