Location: Hobart, TasmaniaGear: .3 & .6 nd grad , 350d, 10-22, tripod (i am the tripod...)
I think I will crash soon as I'm never up this early? More coffee
It really is hard to guess when good sunrises or sunsets will occur but from my experience I have found when the weather has been fine for a few days and it finally ends up raining then the morning before or evening before the rain usually creates nice colours. The same goes with after showers when the weather clears up so stay alert and this seems times to get unusual cloud formations and colours.

This turned out beautifully, the redness looks somewhat apocolyptic and yet somehow gorgeous. The sea almost blends into the sky, it's like it continues forever, since the ending point is difficult to find.
