Description
This quick little painting was based on jokes about the previous imperial nurse images. People joked that the imperials might just fake or exaggerate their injuries to spend some more time in the medical bay (And bask in the attention and care of the nurses!) In this scene the droids are ushering out some fakers, who will have to report back for active duty. Side note: these three troops are sporting the rarely seen "off-duty" outfit, worn by all branches in their barracks or personal quarters.

Well as the medical bay appears to be the only perk of their job, it isn't too surprising that there might be more than a few malingerers.

That's true! Maybe these troopers can "pressure" some new recruits into giving them similar pampering! Call it a team building exorcise (or, good old fashioned hazing!)

That might work out for them, at least until the recruits' rather outraged drill-sergeant discovers what they're up to with her trainees.

Usually your drawings make me smile (and my pupils dilate), but this one had me burst out laughing.

The imperials probably give their drone bots the triage duties because the kind-hearted nurses will admit hangnail sufferers if they had their way. I like that off duty outfit, and that flash of derriere revealed by one lovely malingerer already out the hatch!

That's true, all the original patients from that battle are being discharged, even though they all want another day or two of bed rest. Looks like they will have to wait for the next Senya encounter!

I highly doubt the one who suffered one of Senya's bone snaps to her leg felt like it was worth it.

Especially in the new movie, Batman is a wrecking machine. Luckily these troopers are not especially skilled fighters, so a few well placed hits can send them to the ground, or into a pile.

The thing is however: If you're being hit hard enough on the head that you loose consciousness and fall to the floor drooling, you're not coming out of that completely intact. With the rate Senya seems to go through Empire troopers, there's going to be a permanent resident of medical ward, because she met Senya one too many times.

Luckily the Empire is vast, with a standing army of millions! It is unlikely she would kick the same asses too many times

We ARE aware that this all takes place in space, with hoverbikes and battledroids, right? XD I'm pretty sure some suspension of disbelief, when encouraged by the author himself, is perfectly fine. /: }
