Description
This image was drawn by the great painter , who I commissioned to do a Senya image a few months back. I asked if it was cool if I added some colour to it, and this is the result! I loved the pen drawing, with it's dynamic composition, sexy trooper pile and a perfectly playful Senya. It was fun to paint over this image, and it is always interesting to work with another artist's line work. I believe our confusion here is relative to what we both regard as direction. When I said she was going down the leg, it was in regard to 'up' the thigh to the hips. And I believe you had been thinking the same thing.

I'm not faving this, because I don't want to show everyone to see sexual stuff in my favorites... And usually I don't think battles and sexyness go well together... But I love the style, and the fact that there are multiple corpses and its clearly triumphant feel, I cant help but give it praise. Give the artist my regards.

Fair enough, but the hero character Senya does not kill her foes, she mostly knocks them out.
The comic on which this image is based has a playful tone, (similar to an 80's cartoon) and has no blood or killing in it.

Well that's a dumb question. Not only because you answered it yourself but you're trying to make it more relevant to something that it doesn't have to be. It's a picture specifically designed for entertainment and it doesn't need to have a lasting impact on society.

I can definitely see the issue of a website being over-saturated with similar and repetitive content, but saying that it isn't artistic is ridiculous; especially considering the broadly defined nature of art. I think that you're being a bit closed-minded, either that or you saw something that you didn't like and want to remove it. Either way, you're better off not being so serious.

There's plenty of value in this picture. For one, it portrays something that humans can recognize and enjoy. Two, it holds value to the several people who enjoyed seeing it. Three, The fact that it received criticism from you also gives it value and while there are several more reasons why it has artistic value, most of them are too subjective and vague. For example, this picture displays the skills and nuances of art and I personally think that it is very artistic as a result. Also,if something doesn't fit into your view of art, that does not mean that others can't see it as art nor does it mean that it does not hold artistic value.
