Contest entry for AdamCristobel a.k.a. ReverendAspen <3
The theme was to make a guess as to what the main antagonist of his story series (The Rosenrot Experiments) "The Director" looked like.
As I've been working on this guy I totally fell in love with his design <3 I may have to make a character modeled similarly of him for something.
Ahem, anyway, from what I attempted, his race is a mix between a Markanican and a Vusician . But he might have something else in there with those ears. :0
Originally he was supposed to be female, but I went all "Naw, I'll make him a guy", then I changed my mind and went all "... Naw I liked him as a girl", and at that point my brain nearly imploded so I just said "CRAP WITH IT! It's a dude."
So that would explain why he looks a bit feminine.
I had to put that tongue in there. You know me.
His hair makes me happy.
I screwed up his glasses.
Pimp chair is PIMP.
I kept listening to the song "Who's Your Daddy" by Benny Benassi when drawing this.

Ok. I have to say this. The color on the tail throws off the color balance alittle bit. There is more orange/ lighter color than what it calls for. To balance that out, an easy way would be to put more orange light on the character himself or put abit more fur texture on the tail. That will balance the picture more and you're set to go. Since you're computer is a dark monitor, it is harder to catch those kinds of things.
Overall, I really like it. The character makes me go "SPPPPLLLEEEEE". The rape face is bone chilling. You've always had a knak for expressions. HE'S PIMP!!! <8D

0__o Raepface or not (tongue, lol) that guy is terrifying. I repeat everything I said before but also want to mention that some of the most important characters are bi-racial and I'll definitely include that detail in my story. Also, I totally did not see this coming (I thought you were going to say the Director was a certain someone). But I'm sure he has one heck of a story regardless.
You definitely have to email this to me so I can see it in all its glory.

This is what I want to see in an entry! The shading and lack of color (which in this case is a very good thing) totally sell it.
I like the concept of race mixture and how you made it work so well. The hair is great (it kinda makes him look like a mad scientist) and... oh my God, those eyes!
That is an awesome pose he's in, that chair is indeed pimp and the glow from the monitors makes it all the more creepy. The Global Surveillance Network must be on the fritz. Or maybe he has DSL. XD

Who he/she actually is I've already decided. I'm just going to use elements from the contest to build on him/her. For example, it could be some people spreading rumors about the Big D or aspects of his actual appearance and personality. So it's actually a bit of both.
