Description There were several other movies that came really close, like:
Beauty and the Beast (Cause it's a classic and my fav Disney movie)
Lilo & Stitch (ONLY this one! NONE of the ones coming after it! I hate them with a passion.)
Tremors (Cause it's freakin' WIN)
And The Fifth Element (cause that black guy is my hero)

Now for random babble that you can only read if you're interested!

Watership Down
By FAR by biggest inspiration. My dad got it for me when I was about... 10-11 perhaps? Despite that he had read the book back in high school, apparently he forgot about it and got it for me "because it had cute bunnies on it".

Little Shop of Horrors
I used to watch this movie all the time when it came on TV when I was really young cause it was just that awesome. I mean, heck, it has a singing alien plant that eats people. COME ON!!

Jurassic Park
I actually like all 3 films, but the first totally owns them all. Also watched this film a lot as a kid. Not sure if this was the origin or just the fuel for my love for dinosaurs.

Major Payne
Oh my gosh... just... I love this movie. lol It comes on TV in reruns constantly to the point you want to punch someone, but I can watch it every single time and still laugh. This movie is my family's favorite. The humor in it never gets old for me!

The Plague Dogs
Discovered this film quite a few years after Watership Down. I was expecting something along the same lines, but was blown away. The plot is wonderful and the animation is just completely gorgeous for its time. And the ending is just... BAWWW!

Titanic
SHUDDUP >:U Probably one of the only romance movies I really like. Watched this movie a lot with my cousin when we were younger (though we skipped the naughty parts lol). I fondly remember us laughing at the people sliding down the ship when it was all slanted and when that guy in that one scene jumps off the ship and hits the propeller and gos spinning. We would rewind it and watch it more times to count. xD Cruel children we were.

Cloverfield
Gaaaah love this movie. I probably wouldn't have liked it nearly as much if I hadn't have been smack in the middle of its ad campaign. They had so many little hints and clues and interactive things leading up to it. Crazy times, man.

Spirited Away
Ever since ~AlfaHorsey showed it to me ages ago I just couldn't get it out of my head! Also the first film of Miyazaki's I ever saw. Animation is just fantasmicilicious!

Forrest Gump
"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." :U HARHAR! This film has much the same with Major Payne in regards to the reruns and family favorite. It's one I just can't forget!

Jeepers Creeprs
The only horror movie I can say I really like. This film is so cheesey but I love it. Not to mention its slogan is just awesome. "What's eating you?" PFFF

"and got it for me 'because it had cute bunnies on it'."

That is EXACTLY why my mom bought me that movie. But it traumatized me instead of inspire me. :'D

I still wonder if it was normal for me NOT to be disturbed by that movie in some way or another. And Jurassic Park as well lol

I was eleven when I read the book. And I watched the movie at nine.
You aren't the only one who wasn't disturbed. I laughed when the hawk got that one rabbbit..

Violet's gone!! :U
Poor Violet. Randomly generated doe thrown in just to be killed. Like the redshirts of Star Trek.

I watched Jurassic Park when I was little too. The only thing that kind of scared me was when the velociraptor popped out from around the corner with an arm in its mouth.

Watership Down was so much more /disturbing/. >> The "black rabbit" still scares me to this day. Seriously. I tried watching "Bright Eyes" a couple of months ago and had to quit about half way through. It just scares me for some reason I have no clue.

Oh yeah, that. xD
The part with the goat scared the crap outta me. I couldn't stand that part when the girl was like "OMG LEIK WHERE DA GOAT AT :U" then PLOP goes its bloody leg on the car roof.

Dawws D:
Maybe you should watch the TV series. But then you might be scared by... THIS: [link] D:

Aw what, no Felidae?

Think I like the blank-stared Filly in the second panel best of all.

I don't like that movie that much, actually. lol But I already told you that I think.

She would make the best movie ever. An entire movie. Of just that. It'd be better than Avatar and Alpha and Omega combined!!

Songdogx In reply to AlfaFilly [2010-10-12 14:45:24 +0000 UTC]

That was the point, silly.

It's not hard to make a movie better than those two combined~

Oh my gosh we like the same movies!!!! how creepy is that! Watership down and plague dogs were the most saddest movies to me!!!! I mean animal brutality is just a killer to me! Especially with Plague Dogs . Forrest Gump is a timeless classic! and Spirited away is so awesome! Have you ever seen Kiki's Delivery Service? I grew up with that film

If you like serious talking animal films, I'd recommend you to watch Felidae, it's about cats
You can find it on youtube, it's a german film but it's in english.
