Sorry for the bit of break between the last page and this one. Lots of things came up and I just wasn't feelin' very comicy at all. I was going to hold off on this page till later in the week, but this morning I reread through my Tapestry of Horror entries (well... Audition through Round 2 at least) and got inspiration strike and was all NO. NO THIS IS GETTING DONE TONIGHT. And tonight it did!
Kailani you need to learn how to properly socialize. Er... actually, both of you do.
Oh Finnie, I don't think that's the sorta information Feddy wanted to hear. What is your problem, woman?
Inks on this are still not up to par. I'll get better as time goes on I suppose. I'm normally pretty good with traditional inks but for some reason lately they don't want to cooperate. Could be due to the fact a couple of them are starting to dry out. Then again I have had these pens for... 5 years or something crazy. Surprised they still live now!
P.S. I was dumb and realized I colored Kailani's tail wrong in the previous page. I need to fix that. I also forgot her sickle claws in page 1. YOU SEE HOW RUSTY I AM AT THIS?

I honestly can't imagine Federico being older than an elder. No matter how you make him I always see him as a young man in his 20s.

I dunno, I'd think her favorite food would be useful to know. Not entirely the information a curious future husband would want, but not "irrelevant." But I can't help wondering if this game is current knowledge or something from when she was young, pff.
I'm curious, does Feddy's right leg hurt? He seems to be gripping it in a lot of the panels on this page. Or is that just nerves?

Actually yes! You got it! It's a mixture of the two. That's one reason he sat down cause he got tired but it's not an obvious thing. Just a little hint at it. I was wondering if anyone would catch on xD

Well, actually, especially for someone with a staff to see to those needs, that seems information more for them, since they'll provide it, then relevant for him, especially since they're small things easily figured out once you ask, and should probably be part of helping to settle her in, talking to the staff about her likes, etc.
If I was in his shoes, I'd find it pretty irrelevant, too. I'd be more worried about important things, like, does she have the type of personality that will be open with me, or will I need to coax her out? If so, how exactly would be the best way to do that? How much information could she handle without severe emotional distress and what are good ways to help her cope with the new life forced upon her? Will I freak her out? How much of the initial personality I see is the real her, and how much is a social facade?
I mean, when meeting someone for the first time you have to spend your entire life with, I'd think their emotional state would be way more important than their preferences and likes. And, you know, what training and education they'll need to take on the duties and social obligations they now have. Because I imagine having things ready for them in that regard, and then asking them about their preferences would help ease them into their roles more then having their favorite foods on call but letting them flounder around trying to manage the staff and deal with all those pesky social engagements that could make or break their social future.

Haha, you hit the mark pretty well there! It's definitely not particular relevant information at all. After all, if I were in his position, I would much rather hear facts pertaining to personality, health, activities, etc. Especially considering he did not get the chance to physically meet with her to know for himself. It's frustrating to be in the dark about all this gravely important information, only to be given interesting but not all that helpful or required information. Which is why he does not carry a very high regard for Finnie at all.
While not particularly "important" or "relevant" to what he prefers to hear and what Finnie should have told him, knowing these little things at least gave him small insights to Kailani's personality. So in that regard they are partially important in the sense of "it's better than nothing". If I was given barely any information I'd take anything over nothing.
Although, as will be clarified in later pages, Federico did receive information, so he was not 100% in the dark. But it was not at all the amount of information he could have gotten had he been given the opportunity to meet with Kailani himself prior to current standings.

Kailini, you need to understand, Federico is a man, he is restricted by law to 2,000 words per day.Β Exceeding this limit could cause a revocation of his man licence.Β So you can ask 2000 questions, then they should be the type that can be answered in single words (monosyllables the best) =^^=
