Sorry for the bit of break between the last page and this one. Lots of things came up and I just wasn't feelin' very comicy at all. I was going to hold off on this page till later in the week, but this morning I reread through my Tapestry of Horror entries (well... Audition through Round 2 at least) and got inspiration strike and was all NO. NO THIS IS GETTING DONE TONIGHT. And tonight it did!
Kailani you need to learn how to properly socialize. Er... actually, both of you do.
Oh Finnie, I don't think that's the sorta information Feddy wanted to hear. What is your problem, woman?
Inks on this are still not up to par. I'll get better as time goes on I suppose. I'm normally pretty good with traditional inks but for some reason lately they don't want to cooperate. Could be due to the fact a couple of them are starting to dry out. Then again I have had these pens for... 5 years or something crazy. Surprised they still live now!
P.S. I was dumb and realized I colored Kailani's tail wrong in the previous page. I need to fix that. I also forgot her sickle claws in page 1. YOU SEE HOW RUSTY I AM AT THIS?

Don't get the wrong idea about me, but aren't most hybrid animals sterile?

Yup! The majority of my hybrids ARE sterile. Kailani is. The only "offspring" that can be made together are resulted scientifically. With the exception of Garin and Zamora, who became hybrids from two completely different reasons.
Although if you want to be completely realistic, it'd likely be impossible for a mammal and an amphibian to even be crossed into a hybrid in the first place.

Haha Feddy looks like a concerned dad in panel 2! Poor guy looks so annoyed the only facts he learned about Kaikai were what to make for dinner.
I'm loving all these angles, especially with Kailani's long legsies!Β

I gotta get better they are so sloppy ;n; I think it doesn't help either cause the tracing paper I use is very textural and effects the quality quite a bit. But I can't make myself ink on the paper itself cause erasing them all is a mess! And tracing paper is just kinda... nice to work on cause it relieves the stress of messing up lines too badly. xD

This whole page is really adorable, haha. Their interactions are just... so cute and innocent, and the whole character you set up for Federico in the previous chapter and the one that was to be expected in this one, was totally negated and it was a really cute surprise.
