Some speculative prosimians (Lemurs, galagos and tarsiers)A) Patas maki or long-tailed ground lemur (Geolemur maki): Long-legged cursorial lemur from the dry grasslands of Madagascar. Similar to today's Patas monkey in ecology and behaviour.
B) Short-tailed ground lemur (Cynolemur brachyurus): Ground-dwelling, highly social lemur from the dry forests and savannas of Madagascar. Similar to today's baboons in ecology and behaviour.
C) Squirrel lemur (Neolemur bicolor): Large, lemur-like galago from the Rift Channel islands, an archipelago formed after the flooding of the rift valley (separating Central and East Africa) with water from the Indian Ocean.
D) False tarsier (Microlemur tarsoides): Pygmy galago, similar to today's tarsiers in ecology and behaviour. Endemic from the Rift Channel islands.
E) Frog tarsier (Batrachocebus tarsius): Extremely agile and carnivorous tarsier, with big eyes, long ears andΒ frog-like hindlegs. It inhabits the forests and wetlands of South-East Asia.
