Kovu x Kiara

Makaa (means “coal”, probably due to his colour xd) was born not so long after Simba passed the throne to Kovu. He was the heir. He grew up, surrounded by loving parent and friends, he learned quickly, so no one had doubts that he would become a good ruler, just like his father and grandfather were. Kovu and Kiara thought they won’t have children anymore, but when Makaa was already a young adult, Kiara found out that she is pregnant. This time it was a beautiful girl, who was named Madini, meaning “gem”. She was really close with her brother, they would spend hours exploring the territory of the Pride Lands together. Madini liked listening to her brother’s stories and advices, she believed he was the wisest lion in the whole world. Also, as Madini grew up, everyone, who knew Sarabi, began to notice strong resemblance between the lionesses.

Kion x Rani

Kamili (“flawless”) is only a few hours older than his twin sisters, Kipenzi (“amber”) and Kaharabu (“beloved”), but he looks and acts more like a mature adult, unlike the two lionesses, who always like causing little troubles here and there. Even though they sometimes bother their big brother, he still loves and cares about them more than anyone. Kamili is a future king of Tree of Life, and Kipenzi and Kaharabu are future leaders of the Night Pride. They both would often argue with each other over who is more important, which sometimes caused even more troubles, but over time they learn to act together and became good leaders.

Vitani

Another twins, lol. Now I don’t know much about them and who their father is, not even their names (my constant problem xd), but I’ll definitely create something in the future. Just that they are “one”, they are rarely seen apart. And they are very close with their mother.

Tiifu

The adult lion’s name is Hassian (“handsome”). He was born a few days after Makaa. As their moms are good friends, they spent a lot of time together and soon became best friends. Their characters are similar, both are clever and caring, and both prefer spending their time playing somewhere, or just walking, and definitely looking for adventures. The cub’s name is Azizi (“precious”). He was born few weeks before Madini. Later, when they grow older, they’ll fall in love. But now all he dreams of is a beautiful mane, like the one his brother has. Will he get it? Who knows?

Zuri

Kali (“intense”) is Hassian’s half sister. They were born on the same day, but their characters differ a lot. Kali wants to look strong and independent, often wanders on her own, far from the Pride Rock. There was also time when she wanted to leave Pride Lands, but then she changes her mind and stays with her family.

Note: Their father was a handsome rogue, who came to Pride Lands not so long after the events of the second movie. Tiifu and Zuri got interested in him and soon their cubs were born, but the lion didn’t abandon them. With Simba’s permission he joined the pride and stayed there for the rest of his life.

Surak x Nirmala

Mwezi (“moon”) and Kamaria (“moonlight”) are a bit older than Kion and Rani’s kids. Kamaria is a few minutes older than Mwezi and likes teasing him with this fact. They are members of the Night Pride and I should say that Mwezi doesn’t always feel comfortable, surrounded with lionesses, but anyways they make a great team.

(My brains: you are too late. Me: I don’t care, I want to do this challenge!)

This piece took more time, than I expected, lol. Twelve is kinda a lot^^”. Anyway, here is my version of next gen kids. I’m really proud of how they all turned out, considering that I had the designs only for four of them xd. I especially like the lionesses, cause in the past I had lots of problems with drawing them, but here they look actually good.
(Yeah, last time I forgot the yellow part of Kamili's mane, but I'm too lazy to fix it)

I imagined most of their stories while drawing, so this is not the final version of them. And I really want to draw more of them, I love their designs xd

If there are any mistakes pls don’t blame me, it’s late and I’m really tired

I won’t be posting for some time as I’m a bit busy and I also need to repair my computer, where all the files are ;_;
