Description
The second one in the batch, client work that I can finally show! This was lots of fun to work on because I got to try many different things. I don't think I've ever put so much effort into effects and glowy things in a painting *A* I'm still quite happy with how this one turned out (am I allowed to say that?) I know there's a lot of cheap things about it, backlight, chick with sword, flying petals, grain and so on, but it was a very rewarding piece to do and I learned a lot doing it.Copyright belongs to Applibot Inc. so keep your tiny little hands off or they will hunt you down

I don't know. I think it looks too realistic. More like a photo than a painting. I know that can be impressive to some, and I'm sure you worked hard on it and plenty of people here will love it, but my personal preference is the more painterly stuff where you can tell that it was painted. Here it's pretty much over-defined, making it too tight and, well... partially killing it's mood. Great work nonetheless.

Funnily enough, I think that's the captivating part of this piece. I don't know, but I keep staring at this thinking about it. This picture is so detailed, so clean, yet it manages to give a strange, surreal feeling.

awesome piece. if you feel good about it then you should be, being an artist always bring a constant sense of insatisfation (more like "it's not good yet"). i find your effects brilliant and the details very exclusive.
