This is so cheaaaating, lol, Tracing poser characters? It also looks very artificial.
It's very well done, and i congratulate you on that. but id like to see some actual hand drawn, no reference kind of stuff.

I struggle to understand why you seem to look down on artists using reference for their works. Even the greatest masters used references for their most famous masterpieces, For example: Leonardo Da Vinci used live models and visited prisons to find the perfect face for Judas in The Last Supper.

The painting is amazing, i realize that you do actually paint the character, but it seems like only half the job was done, if you use the same 3d model to do it over and over. I hope im not sounding to harsh.

referencing is not cheating, idk what world you come from but plenty of artists, old and new reference. It makes an accurate anatomy, perspective and balance for the drawing.Β

Sorry, Poser? Did I miss something? Where did you get that from? See, that looks to me like nothing more than a well-drawn woman. The things he did with the lines require more skill than a poser tracer has. Even if he worked this pose out in Poser, he embellished his lines in all the right places - subtle things only a skilled artist would know to do. This guy understands how to draw the human body, and wouldn't need Poser. I think you're just jelly.

What always really scares me is the point where "Ah yeah, I know how he did that" changes into "Fuck, how did he do that now!?"
It just jumps from 'looks accomplishable' to 'neverever in this life'.

How do you get rid of your line art? I know everything is on separate layers, but how do you work on your art without a lineart, with only relying on colors so easily??

I'd like to know, how'd you learn to paint, and with all the perfect lighting? Did you take college classes for this? I'm just a little discouraged because I want to paint like this for hopefully a career in concept....

Interessant zu sehen, wie die Lines am Anfang gar nicht mal allzu realistisch aussehen, aber dann von Schritt zu Schritt sieht es schon fast schon fotorealistisch aus.
Besonders gefallen mir die metallenen Schmuckelemente und das blaue Lichtschwert+schild.

I believe she took away the lines to give it a more 3D look and added more lighting/shading thus adding to the 3D so it didn't look "bald" as I like to call it.

I'm just not okay with objectified women in art so this character is a disappointment for me. It's sad because it's so beautiful and so wonderfully rendered. I love your art and I look up to you as a person and artist.
Something in her facial features suggest weakness. Then there is no strength in her grip: she is about to drop the sword to the ground. Her body is frail and she is practically naked. She seems defenseless in her body and in her mind and it makes me feel sorry.
I'm sure you had instructions to follow from Applibot. Seeing most of the art produced for them, they are obviously not interested in depicting empowered female characters. So I'm not blaming it on you per se. I just wonder if it could have been depicted differently and if you were aware of this.
