I believe he changed the clouds and moved the location of the light source, and also upped the contrast.
There are more differences, I'm sure, but those are what I find most obvious. ^^

Are you saying that the painting started out cool and ended up ordinary? Or did you mean "extraordinary"? I was just wondering, you comment does not make it clear to me... I tend to like artworks that are a bit more impressionistic and not so glossy, but this is pretty cool. I really liked the starting sketch, haha. XD
