What kind of reference you use for drawing out your rooms?

How do you get that perfect perspective when everything is still so vertical? I'd imagine you'd have everything on a vanishing point, sure, but looking at how subtle the slant is you'd have to think that vanishing point would be several feet above your paper, assuming you were drawing this freehand. How'd you do it?

That being said, I don't think I could spend more than ten seconds wearing hotpants like that, let alone sitting in them.
To the artist, very cool sense of gravity. Everything seems properly tied down
