Description
A sketch of a Tyrannosaurus who should have read the warnings. This was done well over a decade ago and was simply an idea I was fooling around with. What kind of sharks are these? Hungry. Just generic sharks of the carcharinid kind. Probably lots of mistakes on the fishes, but the tyrannosaur ought to be decent. Does he make it? You decide!Related content

Aye, though the drawing leaves it open.

If those sharks are Megalodons, Jaws has Sharptooth for dinner, natch. Everyone says T. Rexs can't swim, after all.

Rexes probably could swim quite handily, though not as well as sharks, obviously. Gregory Paul and, I believe, Robert Bakker claim theropods could swim. They were built for it. And, for all the disagreements I have with GSP, I think he's right on the money with that.
The sharks are not Megalodon, more like the ginsu shark. They are sort of generic, but the ginsu shark comes close. Ginsu sharks got over twenty feet long. The sharks likely will be having dinner, yes, but the rex might win over to land and get away.

I say he makes it cause that looks more like a V-rex whom are very VERY big and strong. (they aren't real dinos though)

This was drawn before Vastatosaurus rex was a gleam in Peter Jackson's eye. However, if you want to think of this as V-rex, I won't object--they were fantastically well done and very scary.

I really like the concept, here. A very unique idea. Reminds me that I need to be more creative when planning my own artwork, so thanks for that! I also like how sketches like these can often be even more evocative than extremely detailed and planned out work, and you certainly have achieved that here. Good work!
