Description
Unmuzzled version here - [link]So I drew some Micheletto (as shown in Assassin's Creed because he's my favourite version aahaaah), according to a bit of history! =u=
Apparently, after Cesare Borgia was captured on 1503, the new Pope sent his guards after Micheletto. After being stabbed in the leg with a pike, he managed to escape the guards and outrun them for three or four days -- killing between 25 and 30 people in the process (some of them went missing, it was assumed that he hid the bodies in attempts to cover his trail). When he was caught again, he killed another man before he was bound in chains and muzzled (IT SEEMS HE WAS BITING PEOPLE'S THROATS OUT). Even so, he managed to escape a second time, killing a further ten men at least before finally being brought to Rome for trial.
His only motivation was to find his master and safely have him escape, and God he did try hard.
So yes yes yes, I thought I'd draw it c:

I would love to see a visual interpretation of that scene in the ACB novel where Micheletto dies. It would be pretty violent though as Cesare shot him straight in the face...

In school I made a complete lesson about the Borgia family - my family is closely related to them- and I know quite much about them and of course about Micheletto but this version is new, even for me.
I asked a friend who is a specialist for the Borgia and he told me that he heared of Michelettos.. well... how can you call this? I don't know... but he knew about this.
Okay, no one knows if it's true but I can imagine that Micheletto did this. For Cesare.
This picture won't leave my mind for a very long time. If it ever does.
Very very great. Love it!
Sorry if my English is not the best

Never heard of this version before, always thought Micheletto was never seen again after Cesares Death, without leaving any trace. Where did you read/learn it? Anyway, i love this picture. Its so sad and beutyfull.

*forgot to mention that no information about him has really been PROVEN so I can't vouch for it's validity, but nevertheless all versions of his story are interesting to me ~

Information I've gathered from books, internet and my history teacher who is also keen on the Borgia family (Lucrezia mainly, but he helps me research my favourite assassin ~).
After Cesare's capture, no he never did see him again, though he did try very hard to get back and help him escape. He failed, though, and was captured on Christmas day and restrained for good.
When he was released in late 1505, he became commander to a large group of mercenaries and there is actually a fair amount of information floating about concerning what he did during his last few years, but not much on his thoughts on Cesare's death other than being heartbroken that he'd failed and lost him.
