A/N: Another quick update. I wrote this quickly so it may suck. And this is probably the only update you'll get for a while, unless I find some time over the weekend to write some more.

You and Aradia push your way through the ever-growing crowd. You get elbowed in the ribs a few times. You had to see what was happening. Aradia needed your help so it must be important. She wasn't one to usually ask for help. She was strong enough to handle things by herself. Unless of course she knew whatever was happening had one of your best friends included. Your (e/c) eyes widened and you brushed your (h/c) hair back off your face. You take off your hat, holding it tightly so it wouldn't drop and get stomped on.

After a few more moments of pushing and shoving you make your way to the front of the crowd. Terezi is already there, staring at the scene in front of her. You wonder why she hadn't helped already but then you mentally face palm. She can't help, you idiot. She's blind. Her helping would probably just get her hurt. You roll your eyes before turning them to the sight in front of you.
You already know that someone was fighting. That much was obvious from the constant chanting of the crowd. You spot some familiar faces among the group in front of you.

Tavros is sitting off to one side, holding his hip in pain. Why was he included in this? Then you look over to the rest of the group and you understand. Vriska. She stands off to one side, arms crossed and a smug look on her face. She was what most people would call a bully. But if you asked her about it, if you had the courage to ask her about it, she would brush it off and say she was just misunderstood. Misunderstood my ass. She always finds time to annoy you and your friends, Tavros especially. She loves to tease him; after all he was defenceless without you and the others.

You stop staring at her and look at the centre of the fight. Oh shit. Now we're in trouble. This is never going to have a good ending. No matter what you do, we're so screwed. So fucking screwed. All you can do is stare. In the middle of the fight is Gamzee. His usual clown face paint is scratched and messy. He's fighting off about two or three of Vriska's group.
There's one other person that you recognise. Karkat. He's snarling as he goes to punch another one of the boys in the stomach. The impact knocks him backwards. He turns around to get another one of his friends to help him when he sees you. You can't remember the name of this guy but you swear you've seen him before. Oh that's right. He's the guy who goes around flirting with everyone. What's his name again, ah… Eridan! That's it. Eridan Ampora. Funny, you never would have pinned him as the bad guy type. He can get on your nerves, and he's the not the nicest of people but you never would have ever thought that he'd side with Vriska of all people.

You watch as he turns towards you. He's always seemed to have a fascination with you. Probably because your one of the only girls who can stand up to him without being scared of his temper. Most people are too afraid to yell back at him because they're scared he'll tell the teacher or someone. He's mean, but he's never one to get his hands dirty. Until now that is.
As soon as he sees you his eyes shoot wide open. A lazy smirk comes onto his face and his raises his hand just to blow you a kiss. You stand there, frozen as you stare at him. What the hell? You don't know how to react to this at all. Was he being funny or serious? Then again, it could have been directed to one of the other girls near you. But you realize that would be stupid. Terezi can't see and Aradia and Sollux are going out. As much as you dislike Eridan you know that he's respectful enough not to hit on someone who's in a relationship. So all you can do is watch, your head cocked to the side.

Karkat watches as he blows you a kiss, his face lighting up in anger. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD," he yells, knocking Eridan to the ground. He gets on top of the other boy, sitting on his stomach as he lands blow after blow on Eridan's face and chest. After a minute or so you couldn't take it anymore. You rush in, dodging wild punches as you head towards the pair of them. Once there, you place your hand on Karkat's shoulder. "Karkat," you say softly, your voice quiet so as not to startle him. His head whips around to face you, his silvery eyes wide and his mouth hanging open as he tried to speak. You feel him trembling underneath you and you hook your other arm underneath his shoulder, tugging him to his feet. Eridan remains on the ground, his hands covering his face as he whimpered in pain.

Your friend turns to face you, his face paler than usual. "Hey, are you alright?" You ask with a frown. Slowly you reach up and brush some of his dark hair away from his face, being careful not to hurt him. Yet he still flinches at your touch, leaning back away from you. The sad look disappears from his eyes and he once again becomes angry. "Get the fuck away from me," he says as he knocks your hand away. You stare at him with your mouth open from a second before you close it and shake your head disapprovingly.

"Yeah! You'd better motherfuckin' run!" You hear Gamzee shout. You turn your head to see the others running away down the hallway. He moves to face you. "O-Oh, hey (_Name_)…" He gives you a small smile, running his fingers through his wild hair. You notice his eyes move from you to Tavros, who is still sitting on the ground, hugging his knees to his chest. Gamzee slowly drifts over to him, dropping to his knees at his side. "T-Tavbro?" You hear him whisper to his friend. He remains still for a few more moments before his arms wrap around the other in a hug. He buries his face in Tavros's scruffy mohawk, his slender figure shaking as he sobs.

"Tavbro, I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" Tavros just sits there, unsure what to do with the crying teen that's latched onto him. With a sigh you walk over towards the pair. Slowly you slip your hand underneath Gamzee's arms and haul him upwards so that he's now standing properly. His head turns towards you, his indigo eyes glassy with tears. "It's alright Gamgam, Tav is ok now. He's alright. You're alright." He nods slowly before holding out his arms in the offer of a hug. "Hug?" He asks, looking at you hopefully. You nod and wrap your arms around him, giving him a small squeeze of reassurance.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He keeps whispering as he cries, his head buried in the crook of your neck. You don't know what he's sorry about but you just let him cry it out as you stand there, patting his back and calmly shooshing him, whispering to him that everything was alright.

-Karkat's POV-

You watch (_Name_) and Gamzee hug, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips. "Vantas. Is that a smile?" Terezi asks, looking over to you. You scowl. How could she tell? She's blind! Well… Oh, yeah. I suppose she's gotten better at "sensing" things like this. But still! Not fair! She laughs and taps her cane on the ground a couple of times. "Karkles you need to understand this. I could tell you were smiling because for a second it seemed as if I was standing next to a completely different person." She laughs again before quieting down. "It's (_Name_) isn't it? You have a crush on her?" You stare at your friend. How could she ever think such a thing? Then again, it was true. I do have a bit of a crush on her. Then again, I can't help it. She's was just so, well… Perfect.

"Hey. You listening you me?" Terezi's voice snaps you out of your thoughts. You blink a couple of times and shake your head. "Yeah, yeah. You were saying?" You grumble. "You have to go talk to her about this. Tell her you like her. Let her know. I'm not the master of relationships but I do know how these things work. I read quite a few romance novels back when I could see." She nods, a smug smile on her face. Why's she looking so smug? Ugh, stupid.

"Terezi I watch rom coms a lot. Don't you think that I would know how this stuff works as well?" You snap at her. She shakes her head and sighs at you, brushing her red streaked hair back behind her ear. "You watch those movies but you don't actually realize what they're doing. Because they're not doing anything, really. It's a romantic comedy for reason. In some movies they find out whether or not the girl likes them back and then they go and ask her out. That's the base line for those movies. With a shit load of comedy and jokes chucked in there to pass the time. Then again, I'm not an expert on the matter like you apparently are."

Karkat glowers at her. How dare she judge his experience with these sorts of things! He's had loads of crushes. None that actually walked but they were still crushes. "Goodbye Terezi," he calls as he storms away from her, down the hallway and back towards his locker.

-Terezi's POV-

You listen to your crush as he sulks, walking away from the scene of the crime. Why did he have to like (_Name_) not you? Oh well, at least he would be happy.

-Your POV-

You finally get your friend to stop crying. Once he's good he steps away from you and gives you a small smile. "So mind explaining to me what happened?" You ask once you were sure he wasn't going to start crying again. "It's a long story sis. You sure you got time for this?"
