My trouble with gestures is I waste a bunch of time scrolling the canvas around in MyPaint. By the time I get the canvas repositioned, the timer is already have way done. lol

Then you should try to zoom the canvas out. I think the boxes I used are a bit too small. But I think I'm on a good way capturing the gestures
