I like drawing big hands sometimes too. Hands are one of my favourite things to draw (which is weird, I guess, since most people seem to hate it) -- feet too. Hah. Very cool stuff. I like.

Very organic. Some parts of this drawing resemble rocks and have a soild and heavy feel to them and other parts just flow have a soild, clean line to it. I think that contrast makes it even more interesting.

(Late reply, sorree)
The lack of major colour and the clean black lines on the white, there's nothing unnecessary. I just looked at it and thought 'pure'. You should definitely draw more!

thank you!! I'm too scared to lose the shapes etc if I overwork it or put to much into it, so that's kind of silly-not much for a risktaker! haha.
I do draw alot, that's what I mainly do. just the last few months I've been experimenting with paint, sculpture and photography -which I enjoy. I think it's good for me to do different things, and it really added to my drawing I think.
in art school (at least the one I went to) I didn't feel like drawing really got appreciated, it's often looked at as like a step towards becoming a painter -which I think is such a shame because it's something different and unique and valid on it's own and got very different qualities than painting. but still I felt like I should do painting: /
I think it's hard to find a way of presenting my drawings, (in an exhibition etc)
how do you present yours?
again, I LOVE your work!

Erm, I have just DeviantART and my uni 'animation room' wall to present my drawings. I've never done a commission or an exhibition. But, I am going to return back to college pretty soon to ask my previous graphic design tutor what she thinks of my recent work and see if there's any way of actually attracting more attention and earn *some* money. At college, I was always told to "experiment" more with materials but I mainly just painted and stayed away from intaglio printing and such (using it once to 'gain' marks), much to the dismay of my art tutor. I'm not as interested in photography or sculpture, I find it harder to judge; it's easier to tell from a drawing whether someone is talented. That you can draw means I'm more inclined to appreciate every other thing you do, be it sculpture or photography, even if I don't understand it.
