Vision:
I think the colors really do a great job of bringing Sherlock out of the shadows. It livens up the piece and hints at the person Sherlock could have been if one moment in his life had been different.
Originality:
What strikes me the most is your ability to make the viewer feel she/he is in conversation with Sherlock, through the eyes. There is a mystery that draws the viewer in, while the light accents his cold attitude.
Technique:
Light: The way you have introduced light to the piece brings out Sherlock's eyes and really draws attention to the use of bright colors.
Neon: All the colors do a great job of complimenting one another. My eyes are drawn to Sherlock's expression and to Sherlock himself since all the bright colors seem to play off of him.
Impact:
I keep returning to this sketch in my Watch-Notices. It's so dynamic and it really draws me in.
