Continuing my sci-fi(ish) series... here's a painting inspired by Wong Kar-Wai's 2046. The color palette of this film is very beautiful, a lot of deep reds, sea greens, and yellows. This particular character is the "delayed-reaction android" (played by the gorgeous Faye Wong.)
Eventually I want to finish pieces from Wong Kar-Wai's entire repertoire! This was a closing piece from my solo show MOMENTS .
Painted with references on a Cintiq 21UX tablet in Adobe Photoshop.
