"What happens if I don't?"– Let the Right One In (2008)
Sorry for the lack of updates recently! I've been really busy this summer... x_x; keep forgetting to update here...
Still slowly uploading all the pieces from my solo show MOMENTS ! This piece was inspired by the great Swedish vampire film Låt den rätte komma in - it's my favorite scene (when she enters the house anyway... it was so sad and scary!) The child actors that played Eli and Oskar were really spectacular. I spent several months on and off on this painting, it was one of the first pieces I did in the series.
Painted with references on a Cintiq 21UX tablet in Adobe Photoshop.

I've never seen it, but I looked it up just now. Despite the fact she's a vampire and he's human, it's beautiful to see what friends will do for each other, even at their own peril.

Let the right one in, based on the book by John Ajvide Lindqvist. You can order the movie online, but make sure you get the theatrical version because this has the original subtitles. They made an english version as well but I didn't want to see it after seeing the original Swedish one. It's a great story, and super creepy. Maybe you can find the book at the library if you want to read it first.
