Well... too big to be an icon on here, methinks. I made it for my MSN.The awesome Zachary Quinto, who plays Sylar (Gabriel Gray) in Heroes.
Anyone got any good Pylar fics out there to reccommend me? Or even Plaude. I'm a little desperate for slash that isn't Petrellicest or Mylar. *shudder*

Since I made this I've been on LJ and read quite a lot of the stuff, and I like it.

Okay, just checking...you're almost up to where we are here in the States. You just mentioned that you didn't like Petrellicest, so given the recent revelations involving Sylar's parentage, I thought you might not be interested in Petlar anymore (I used to ship Paire until, well, a similar revelation).
By the way, if you're interested in keeping up with the episodes as they come out, I recommend sidereel.com. It's really come in handy for me for when I need to catch up on episodes I miss. There are even links to the NBC website, though you'll have to put up with commercials (bleah!).

I must say I hate hate hate Petrellicest of the PeterxNathan and Paire forms, but I haven't stopped liking PeterxSylar. It just means they actually get to talk more, which is a lot more fun.
I did consider watching it on the internet, but it's just as fun really to sit and watch it once a week. It's more tempting to do with Supernatural, seeing as we don't get series 4 till January.

The way I see it, there's a sort of mutual-benefit-geek-exchange thing with the whole "posting shows online" thing. You folks on the other side of the Atlantic post Doctor Who for us Americans, we post Supernatural, squeally fangirls and fanboys buy ridiculous amounts of merchandise, and everyone's happy. It's symbiotic!
I don't mind the occasional Petrellicest if it's well-written--I'll read practically anything if it's well-written--but also because in my mind, incestuous-y subtext is a creepy sign that This Family Is Messed Up. And the Petrellis are very messed up, if you ask me. I do despise Paire, ironically enough, since it used to be my favorite Heroes ship...until Nathan turned out to be her father. Thanks for ruining it for me, Tim Kring.
Incidentally, if you're into slash, I highly recommend fantasticpants's Heroes Slash Manual. It covers practically every pair you can think of in the first season. EVERY SINGLE PAIR. And then writes about it in a hilarious manner.
Oh, and SPN Season 4? Is awesome. Okay, I'm really a newbie to the fandom and I've only seen maybe five episodes, but season 4 was what got me into this. There's this one guy who makes an awesome entrance this one time. That's all I'm gonna say. You can get it in pretty good quality too on CWTV's website, though I don't know if they let you watch stuff if you live outside of America

That is true, we do get Doctor Who and Torchwood first. Yet, you get so much else before us it's simply unfair. I have to ship things over sometimes.
I can't stand pairings I don't like, well-written or not. They squick me totally. True, the Petrellis are fucked up, and I do tend to actually like incest pairings... I think it's because they said 'I love you' (Nathan and Peter) at the end of series 1, it's just that I see it as platonic love. The other thing that totally squicks me is mpreg, but that's a different subject entirely.
That sounds like a total plan! How would I get hold of it?
I love Supernatural, and I hate the idea that all that's going on without my knowledge! I've already known what's happened with the first three seasons (happens with internet spoilers, unfortunately) but this season I'm hoping to keep it pure. I've tried there before, and it stops you because you're not in America, which is annoying.
