My first uploaded RISD work- basically, the first one that I wouldn't have to chop up to run through a scanner to get it onto the computer! A piece done for the third week of my wintersession class, "monster". The theme was invasion, which may explain the gigantic...er...alien robots. They're crushing cities in a SINGLE BOUND! -dramatic music- I vaguely wish I'd drawn Chicago, just 'cause I could, but then I realized I had no idea what it looked like from above. ALAS. So generic city shapes it was.Weeks later, I still can't believe I did this. Though admittedly, I've never even attempted anything nearly this ambitious. Didn't think I could do it. Mind-boggling!
Anyway, too much serious mumbo-jumbo to say here, so I'll just sigh in relief.

I have said it a hundred times before and I will say it again.
As soon as you level up and think your are making some progress, a monster will walk up to you like you aren't sh*t and criticle smack the f*ck out of you. I should draw that now that I think about it.
