Yeah.. not knowing how to change the colors must be annoying.. but I haven't even figured out how to do what you've got so..

ANyways..
I like the overall knot structure, and the inner knot looks very cool. The radiating circles sorta give the whole thing shape and meaning.. sorta kinda... Yeah.
I don't know if I like the little thingies off to the side; I think they help balance it out, and it wouldn't look right without something other than the circles. But they are so small and complicated, at least on my screen, that it's hard to look at both them and the main knot at the same time, and it sorta distracts away from the big idea.
They do look really cool when I use full veiw and look at just them though. So I'm not sure on that one.. It would look unfinished without them, but it's sorta distracting with them.. Maybe it would help if they were a little bigger and a little less complicated, although it seems rather a shame to make them less complicated, because they do look really cool..
This is all just personal opinion though; I don't think you should change anything on this one, just keep it in mind for next time. Or not, if you think my suggestions are totally off the wall. But whatever.

I do agree with you that this turned out really well; I feel like I'm being overly critical because this is really good, especially for not being familiar with the program yet. And it's certainly better than what I can do, so I don't really have any right to say anything.. But you did say you wanted imput, so here ya go.
