Description
Came down with Covid over the weekend so I wasn't able to do as much artwork I wanted to. Fortunately I'm recovering (with my sense of taste and smell intact) and manage to find the energy to make some random character sketches.

The fairy and the dwarf at the top are two minor characters for one of my story concepts Gladius. The dwarf is a skilled blacksmith who survived being suddenly merged with robotic technology but found it to be very useful to his craft. The fairy is his apprentice who developed a fascination with technology and who's small size allows her to work with it in a more fine tuned level.

The robot thing in the center and the slug-like creature on the middle left are actually the same. It's yet another redesign for an additional alien for Extraterrorestrial. They are native to a world with high gravity and air pressure thus require specialized suits to interact with others off world.

The creature in the bottom left is also a part of Extraterrorestrial. For one of the main characters Skippy (the yellow fuzzy alien with a trunk-like nose), I mentioned that I imagined his species evolving very keen senses due to having numerous predators. This creature is one of them, which I currently call a Grek'Kall. I was going for a fuzzy gremlin vibe, imagining these creatures climbing through the trees while hiding in shadows ready to snatch up unsuspecting prey.

Lastly, on the bottom right, is a random character idea of a princess superhero. I imagine her powers come from an amulet she wears that grant her the abilities and forms of various mythical creatures. She has identities showcased here; Her main princess identity on the right, her superhero identity (working title "Mythic Paladin"), and a casual one she wears to sneak out of her castle and interact with the people outside. Not sure if I'll pursue this one any further so I'll keep it in the back pocket for now.
