Going back to Star Trek again. A few weeks ago, I discovered the incredible and sexy Star Trek chick stock from *Chonastock and totally fell in love with it. Now I want a redskirt costume too! Actually, I could portray Uhura because I have the physique and skin tone for it, but let's not digress here...
So I used one of Chonastock's fabulous images, mixed it with a TOS background and a dead crewman and tada! This is the final result. At first, I thought the female should be Vulcan because of the ears. But when I saw the way she's looking at that poor dead guy (funny that he's not a red shirt...
) with her phaser aimed at him, I figured she looks like she's just killed him and a Vulcan wouldn't do that unless they had a damn good reason. I mean, they are against violence, aren't they? Plus, she looks deliciously cunning and evil, just like a Romulan. And I named her Llaiir which means "flame" in Romulan. She's infiltrated the Enterprise in order to bring back the cloaking device that Kirk stole from her people in "The Enterprise Incident". Will she succeed?And here's a bit of trivia for you: from which TOS episode is the background that I used (minus the dead crewman)?

I always get confused with this, Romulans and Vulcans are the same or did Romulans used to be on Vulcan like a separate species? Because they seem 'greener' and sweatier than Vulcan, now they changed the way they look again for JJ's Star Trek that Eric Bana's playing... totally off topic, but great image!

Hehe... Thank you so much! Vulcans and Romulans actually started out as the same species but at some point a small group of them decided to reject the idea of discarding emotions to strictly embrace logic and some of them eventually left Vulcan and settled on two twin planets which they colonized and called Romulus and Remus (the latter being a very harsh planet which was only used for mining as referred to in Nemesis).
What I find odd is how some Romulans have ridges on their forehead (TNG) while others don't (TOS). And personally, I really don't like the way they look in the next movie and I hope that JJ will give us some kind of explanation as to why.

Cool I love it! haha if only there was a TOS ep with the same plot - I wanna infiltrate the enterprise, shag the Captain, take on Spock in a battle of wills and minds, and eventually get taken down in a dual fistfight with both of them. It's that bloody Captain Kirk Flying Kick that wins every time.
