Since making art with XPS has become too time-consuming because of all the image adjustments I need to do afterwards in Photoshop, I've decided to just grab a game screenshot and work with that. I've done a few changes such as the faint smiles on Rachel and Kaidan, and Rachel's makeup but that's about it. And pardon me for the ugly dress but for some reason I couldn't manage to replace it using Texmod and ME3 Explorer.This was taken between the Casino infiltration mission and the search for Shepard's Clone. I know that technically it wasn't the last battle but from now on I've decided I would always be playing the Citadel DLC after the Reapers have been defeated (with the Destroy ending) so the battle to defeat the Clone is indeed the last one for me.

Beautiful shot! I have always loved the 22nd Century tux look. First time I played the DLC it was before recruiting Tali. I never thought about playing it at the end....but it makes sense.

I really like this, it's a nice screenshot. I always play the Citadel DLC before heading to Cronos station, you know, to throw one hell of a party before things get ugly.
I'm curious though, how do you make screenshots of such high quality? If it's no secret of course.

The fact that this screenshot was taken directly from a PC playthrough is probably why the resolution is so nice. When I compare my PC screenshots to the ones I've made from an Xbox playthrough, there's one hell of a difference in terms of quality. It's most likely due to the fact that with Fraps, you can take the screenshots as you're playing the game whereas if you do it with a console, you have to record your gameplay first and then take the screenshots during playback. The quality is never as good when you do it that way.

really love this and if I ever choose destroy again I will probably play the citadel dlc after defeating the reapers too. sadly because I love the geth so much I tend to with most of my playthroughs go with synthesis.

You know, there was a time when I was convinced I would try every ending at least once but after choosing Destroy the first time around, I just can't bring myself to let any of my Sheps die... And I think my only reason for choosing Synthesis would be to save EDI. Losing her is the only thing that makes me sad about choosing Destroy. In my little head canon though, her consciousness still lives somewhere inside the Normandy's systems and a group of really amazing scientists manage to rebuild a body for her and she's reunited with Joker. Sappy, isn't?

Oh yeah it certainly needs a happy ending even if its by playing a dlc after an event it was supposed to happen before.
Yeah I can understand that and no that isn't sappy at all and yeah she is another reason I choose Synthesis. But I mean honestly to me I doubt that all AI died with destroy or at least surely most could be brought back. Geth were created by Quarians. EDI was created by humans. All those wonderful technologies were created by someone and could be created again. The creators would just have to learn from past mistakes and not try and kill something if it becomes an intelligent being like the Quarians did with the geth.
They were a pain in the side but I've always like those kind of characters. Artificial intelligence fascinates me to no end. Legion and Mordin for me were the most heart wrenching deaths in mass effect. I mean they all made me feel quite emotional but those two for me were the hardest. Then the bit at the end where your love interest puts the plaque on the wall that is a nasty moment too. Very heart wrenching. But I shall stop now as I will probably keep going on.

This is really nice, it has a warm, tender feel to it and I love Kaidan with the beard. Great job.
I like to play the same way, gives the game a much better ending. And working with screenshots can be just as difficult as anything else, just finding the right one can be a challenge. (especially if like me you have thousands on the drive - really need to cull some of those but it's too damn hard to choose

Thank you so much, sweetie. I was just very surprised that I was able to get such a nice, intimate pose just from an actual screenshot. It's a very rare occurrence, unless the scene was originally meant to be romantic.
And yes, I remember before I was introduced to XPS, all I had to work with were regular screenshots and I had to do all sorts of manipulations and shenanigans to achieve what I wanted...

That's exactly what I did in my fic With a Little Help (although it was the keepers in my case) because I only ever play the destroy ending. So if you're sappy so am I
