Call! <3 My favorite Lonesome Dove character, from both the books and the several mini series. I named my first wolf OC after him a while back xD and I plan to name my dogs/sons/fish/anythings Woodrow and Augustus someday.
Karl was perfect for the role. Perfectly gruff and a believable younger Tommy Lee Jones.
Nice Beach Boys lyrics, too. I like you xD

That show rocked my socks off. He was a perfect Call. Zahn was no shabby Gus either. but my favorite was captain scull and his love affair with fleas.

It was good, wasn't it? I'm glad that you've appreciated Karl in that role because I think he did a great job too but most people (critics and reviewers anyway) seemed to have noticed Steve Zahn more than they did Karl. And yeah, Captain Scull was a hoot!
