Keeping in mind that Cagney(Who ends the fight without eyes), Cala(Who ends the fight as a Castlevania Medusa Head), Grim(Who ends the fight with three heads), Rumor(Who ends the fight as a plane with X's in her eyes, which normally indicate death), and Beppi(Who ends the fight as a carousel convulsing in pain)all show up at the end just fine, it wouldn't be that far of a stretch to say that Wally, Goopy, and the others are just fine.

Look at Wally's eyes, he's still alive, just dazed, if he doesn't snap out of it, his son might intervene. Assuming he does snap back to his senses, he could easily overpower those two birds.
