Description
A slight redesign of my earlier tongue-in-cheek pencil drawing of a clown alien. I imagining them being semi-aquatic, evolving from an analog to terrestrial frogs. Although their comical appearance may be amusing to most, they are in fact a rather frightening species. Their alien psychology gives them the appearance of being consummate sadists to most other sapient species made all the more terrifying by their mastery of biotechnology. A favorite amusement of the Eeshiq is infecting other species with bioengineered plagues and delighting in the hilarious consequences of mass hysteria and bodily humiliation. Oh, and the coral-like carapace covering parts of their body is in fact bioengineered carapace produced by parasitic bacteria. The elaborate antlers are a status symbol.
