Description Posthuman morphs selectively mutated to function as a biological computer. All other aspects of anatomy not conducive to this purpose have atrophied into vestigial traces. Essentially little more than a head and torso, a brain and the organ system to sustain it, computer-morphs are suspended in a supportive nutrient bath and hardwired into electronic systems. In such a state they function as the calculating intellect guiding systems ranging from surveilance to weaponry, mass communication to energy distribution. The motivations behind utilizing computer-morphs instead of machine intelligences varies. Some factions prefer them out of a superstitious suspicion of artificial minds, while others enjoy their service out of the aesthetic appreciation for the plasticity of the human form. Yet others are driven by a mere lack of technological sophistication, making computer-morphs the only practical alternative. The grossly distended brains of computer-morphs are more akin to a pair of brains than a single one and allow them to run complex calculations in parallel with rapid precision.

Of course! Its a common enough sci-fi trope. I dont care if it looks similar or not, artistic style varies enough to provide sufficient originality for me. Feel free to tag me in the final product, I am interested to see how it turns out!

Sure! It probably wont be for a long time as i am telling a story and humans just colonized mars, it'll be a few more deviations until they genetically engineer biological computers.

The human race goes to mars and the people left behind on earth are mostly uncivilized with no government, after a few hundred years after that, most of humanity civilization falls, and you see over millions of years Β the wild animal-like descendants create and build up civilizations and cultures and wage war etc. and its supposed to be interesting but also teach some lessons. There is also one faction of the human race (idk where yet, probably on mars) That stays advanced and keeps getting advanced, conquering most of the solar system and some other crazy stuff happens. The story-line is kinda loose right now but it'll get wrapped up when i get there. There is also some secrets hidden in my other deviations that I've been planting hinting what happens in the future and a few other secrets, but no one has noticed and i'm not far enough in the story line for them to really mean anything yet.

Nice! I love "deep time" science fiction stories that cover thousands or millions of years and show how humans and civilizations evolve over time. Great stuff!

Yeah think about a sort of "All Tomorrows" and "Man After Man" theme

Read Starmaker and Last and First Men. He pretty much started the genre of stories about human (and alien) evolution. Its old writing so it might be hard to find but its still pretty cool. He was the reason I stumbled across arists doing the same
