I had to draw spike with wings. Why doesn't he have any? You would think that a dragon would have wings. I guess he is a special kind of dragon. He must be. All other dragons are winged. So i taught that he might be able to grow them after a cacoon stage or something...Related content

Based n the wing growth in Dragon Uest I'm guessing they sprout during puberty, which Spike started with the greed growth, as Zecora mentioned.

Well he has no arms now and his lower body (below the wings) and legs are still in the egg. I wanted to draw it better, but dont rly have the time or the skill

Yeah. I taught that he can have more ways of growing up. Each way with its benefits. This might be his natural way of growing up. Inspired by the life cycle of a butterfly.
