Certainly more impressive than the navigators in the David Lynch Dune movie.

Thanks. I do like the Dune novels, but the designs in the Lynch movie do not live up to the books.
Anyway, the design in my painting is sort of related to Dune, since I wanted to create a navigator that looked like it is constantly mapping and directing a vehicle in three-/four-dimensional space (instead of folding space with its mind, like in Dune). Hence, you need a lot of arms.
