an Art Nouveau rendering of Serra Keto, another character that doesnt have much art of out thereand oh its Naboo on the background, have no idea why Serra would be on Naboo and why I asked for Naboo (I really dont remember why I chose Naboo!!), but it works great!!

I love Star Wars Art nouveau, there is not much of that out there, wonder why I waited so long to ask for one!! (hmm well perhaps because I havent seen an artist doing commissions, and art nouveau at the same time!! lol!)

No, she doesn't, nor does she have enough story on her, even if she was just created for a video game. I mean, this IS Star Wars isn't it? The same franchise that took EVERY alien character in Mos Eisley Cantina and gave each a full character, background, story, and quirky personality traits. So, why does Serra get left out? Oh! I just figured out who I am going to do another piece on (whether it's drawing or writing) for the Contest 09-Women of Star Wars. Yes! This piece is awesome, btw! Kudos to the artist!Β

Yeah as so manyyyy characters, but they wont have back stories now, they killed them all! but they are creating new ones which we probably wont know much about them either!! heck we know almost nothing about Yoda, his specie and such, I hope that if there is one thing they'll do is tell us. I think that will be the only good thing they could do! I have a whole list of shady characters like that! some I've asked arts of them already, you can check in my gallery, all the artists did great job on them all

Well, I think the only EU they're "scrapping" per se is everything post RotJ. I mean, Darth Bane, an original EU character was made "official Movie Canon" when he showed up in the last season of The Clone Wars. And, as far as Yoda goes, I have a feeling his "species" may always remain a mystery simply because it's lasted THIS long when EVERY other character's species, both important and non-important alike, have been identified, given origins, home planet, etc. Though, with these "character stand-a-lone" films that are said to be in the works, they'll HAVE to do one about Yoda and I'm sure it'll be a much younger version of him, giving us more to fill the gaps of his first 700 years where we have virtually NOTHING!Β
Yeah! I thought that since I saw her, and she's only been used in a video game and a Clone Wars Adventures comic, that I'd either do another story like I did with Ahsoka for the contest, or actually do a sketch. Maybe a sketch since I've already written a story.

You are correct on the EU. JJ Abrams and Disney are only scrapping post-ROTJ EU. Which means no more Legacy of the Force. It also means that there won't be any Space Mongol Invasion (Yuuzhan Vong, that is.)

well, from what I also remember reading, it won't be in its current form, but the EU is open to those writing/making films/etc. to draw from, use ideas on, and even build on, so Legacy and Vong might not be COMPLETELY dead...but, it's not like Legacy or NJO's gone. Like any comic universe has the SW universe come, and that means, I can still enjoy what I enjoy and pick which "continuity" I like. Opens it up. So, I wasn't too terribly bothered once I thought about it. Anyway, who's "Lucas" or "Disney" to dictate to me-or any other fan-what is canon and what isn't? I can still enjoy it and consider it canon over a newer version of movie/book/comic/etc. That's how I see it.Β
