This is what I've spent my evenings doing these past couple of months. It's a piece of concept commissioned (well, more like gift art if you want to get technical ) based on the script I mentioned in a previous art submission. Plus any excuse to draw an Octopus!

This picture is based off of a dream that my client had many years ago, but something that stuck in his head and so he placed it in his story. A giant floating sphere of water is traveling through a natural green environment, and as it passes through trees and such like it leaves behind some of the sea creatures that inhabited it.

This is my most ambitious 2D digital piece to date, I'm very pleased but as always see things wrong and I'd like to change. But then it would never be finished, and I wouldn't be able to share it with everyone.

Octo-tree is only a working title, as I'm not entirely sure what to call it, anyone have a good ideas?

The idea is my clients, but the picture is mine.
