Ah.. this can be called a somewhat..promo for my animation video I am working on right now. Anyway, I've had in mind to raw HRE's death scene for a loong while eAe...To be honest, I have no idea in what season Holy Roman Empire broke up. So I decided to draw winter..and yes, he is dying alone. Don't ask where did a grieving angel statue come from..in the middle of the forest. Aaanyway.

Fixed the shadow under the eye of the statue, now it doesnt look so freaking scary anymore DB

Wow thank you so much for this crit! 8D It's my first time recieving a crit >w< Actually, the shadow under the eye looked like a pupil, so it seemed like the statue had a real eye, when they don't.. I don't know if it was good or bad, but it didn;t looked 'right' that's why I removed it. If you're still interested, I actually have a screencap of it [link]

It's... It's so perfect. The atmosphere and the statue just wrap up the feelings.
The thought that HRE died alone, while slowly being worn down is remarkable..
You have really shown what a true artist needs to do to create a perfect atmosphere for a piece of artwork.

Oh my god... do you know what this picture just did to me? It's given me insperation. I've been trying to think of good fan fic idea about when HRE when he died, and somthing about the red string theory. Then, the idea hit me right in the face when I saw this!!!!
Now, in the case that I ever write this let alone finish this fic, may I use this as the preview picture? If not that's okay (I would insted just link people to this pic so they could see what gave me the idea

Well, this is just gorgeous. The imagery of HRE crumpled at the foot of an angel statue is both beautiful and haunting, and the snowy background really pulls everything together.

the Holy Roman Empire dissolved on 6 August 1806....so you know, the winter thing looks really good and dramatic, but it was kinda summer.... nice pic anyways
