While I appreciate the sentiment, frikkin' screw Rose, DOCTOR/MASTER OTP! 8C Honestly, been going on a HELL OF A LOT LONGER than any sort of Doctor/companion relationship.
But I shouldn't rant on your deviation XP I still think it's sweet even if I don't support Ten/Rose... not anymore, not really after Nine regenerated and she became a whiney knowitall, but I REALLY couldn't stand it when she came back and Ten spent all of series 4 waiting for ti and pining after her <<

D/M is my OTP but I dun agree on screwing Rose 6A6 She clearly means a lot to him, he was an emotional wreck after she left, that means he has feeilngs for her too. I think he has certain feelings for all his companions really. Just look at Sarah, or Ace or Jamie, heck even Donna :3 There should be more love in DW and less bashing~

Oh the Doctor absolutely CARES for his companions, I'm not saying that. But I can't stand the thought of him being romantically attached to them, or worse, attracted to them. Ace is a perfect example Seven and Ace are like FAMILY man! Breaks my heart to think Ace finally had to go, it's not fair 8C But I would never ever EVER ship Seven/Ace o___O That just doesn't work, there's no reason for it. That the Doctor cares for Rose I don't dispute, that he 'loves' her? That's what I have a problem with. It really bothers me that RTD decided to rev up chemistry between Doctors and companions, which may just be unavoidable as the actors continue to be younger and younger but still... the closest any companion should get is Martha, she had an incredible crush on him that he didn't even SEE, because that's who the Doctor is he's blind to a hell of a lot of human emotion and issues, he doesn't mean to be, but he REALLY doesn't notice things like that. I think the fact he NEVER says it even proves this more, he CAN'T, he's physically incapable. The Doctor is an emotionally stunted person who's suffered a lot of loss and trauma in his life, he can't DEAL with admitting something like that, especially to a transient companion who will eventually grow old and die and leave him all alone again. If ANYONE was going to get his I love you, it ought to be the Master, he's been with him longer, longer than ANYONE really, they GREW UP together, fighting some of the time yes, but he never really leaves, he always comes back, and as we've seen, when it comes down to the line, the Master wouldn't let him die... he'd kill himself first.
So, I'm sorry, Rose was GREAT with Nine, I loved that relationship, but as soon as he regenerated and she started acting like she had some sort of special claim on him... couldn't take it anymore. To be fair, Ten himself is partly to blame as he's a hopeless flirt and gets attached way too easily... But.. no, no I can't... I just can't put any of his companions on the same level as the Master, that he has equal attachment to them both, I can't do it.
