I like the distortion effects around the orbs. Nice job! It's a neat idea that you execute well. Have a llama.

Looks nice! Always appreciate world builders. What's the reasoning behind arcane being opposed to ice? (I assume)

Thank you. I enjoy world building almost too much, almost more than story and plot building.

Honestly, it was a little bit of circumstances. When I sketched them out on a much simpler chart one by one, the last ones I placed were earth and ice. Ice couldn't be next to arcane and the only other possible spot was across from it. Some were placed just by process of elimination. Earth couldn't be next to fire, so air *had* to be there. I got lucky though because on hindsight everything worked out fine and made sense.

You see, in universe there is no magical reason why ice and arcane should be across from each other, unlike fire and water which was the easiest to place by far. But there are social reasons. Arcane mages and the arcane pantheons would be regarded as strict and prudish by most American standards. While ice beings are mostly barbaric and live in small to large tribes instead of condensed cities. If you had to imagine a follower of ice it would be much like the wildlings on GOT, wild and free up in the north. So it's not just dependent on the magical aspect. I was confused where to put the sun as well, but then I remembered that their morals and society are the exact opposite of shadow so I put it opposite from there.
