Description
this was my first assignment for Drawing class at OCAD. We had to make an abstract piece by:
1. Covering a page with our signature (full name + last name) to the point where it's impossible to read the name anywhere.
2. Finding repeating shapes and patterns.
3. Creating an abstract composition based on these shapes and patterns (in greyscale)

I approached this assignment very negatively, as I've struggled with abstract in the past. Even when I finished it, I hated it, but now that some time has passed I think it's alright, but no better than that.

This was charcoal and conte crayon on paper, ~18" x 24"
