I think Cortex is more evil because he knows about biological science and is good with machines but Robotnik like I saw in an episode of Sonic Boom didn't know anything about biological, okay Robotnik is good with Robots, but he makes them to easy I think he wants to be defeated
Cortex tells his enemies that he is taking over the world, Robotnik tells everyone in the world
but there is one thing what Robotnik does what Cortex doesn't
Robotnik does it all by himself and his robots
okay enough about Robotnik, Cortex has weaknesses too
he is less creative and that marsupial.... that dumb marsupial is his creation, and he makes it harder for himself by making more failed dumb marsupials

well... Cortex is more intimidating if he isn't having an ... eh... 'episode' egg man is creative with his robots but he doesn't fix the weaknesses, Cortex however, is less creative, but his weapons are definitely effective. I honestly think egg man is toying with sonic sometimes, because he makes these utterly ridiculously easy robots in the beginning. It's almost like he's testing Sonic. Seeing how far he can go before BAM! road kill. Cortex I guess is more forth in his wanting to kill crash or by some means dispose of him, but I don't know if either doctor would actually kill their nemesis, because without the possibility of someone to stop them, where's all the fun?
But I don't know who's more evil... both?

eggman is actually more evil.he released an ancient god of destruction, released dark gaia,got sonic into
a werehog,captured aliens to make nega wisp armor and nega mother wisp, traveled through time and space, and mostly, got tails nauseous(bucket o sushi)

Speaking of the classic doctor Neo Cortex, he was really evil, especially in Crash Bandicoot 1! In Crash Bandicoot 3 he was evil but this time there was a villain badder than him: Uka Uka!
Then Twinsanity came out and ruined Cortex's personality making fun of him...
And now Cortex is basically an idiot...

YOSH! Dr. CORTEX is more evil, I mean after all Dr. Eggman has never took his archnemesis away from his parents and did horrible experiments to animals and turn them into mutants and monsters! So whos evil Now... Dr. Eggman!

Dr eggman turned animals into robots, mate. that and robotnik has threatened to destroy teh planet with the eclipse cannon in sonic adventure 2, released chaos in Sonic Adventure, tried to release the monster Ibilis in Sonic 2006, etc. Cortex is just obsessed with getting the crystals

I'd have to go with Robotnik, mainly because he possesses a weapon that can destroy stars and a fleet of about 3,000 aerial battleships led by a 6 mile long flagship. Also, unlike Cortex, Robotnik is not above using his fists to engage Sonic (at least in the comic books).

Cortex is better, I have to admit. Sorry Eggman, but to be honest, Cortex is smarter than you. At least he doesn't go up to Crash and say, "hey! Here's what I'm doing! Bet you can't *insert unstoppable machine with clear weakness*!"

They're both jokes, but if i were to choose, i would say Robotnik/Eggman,even though i was a fan of crash from the beginning. I mean in Sonic 8 bit, if you don't get the chaos emeralds he murders Tails. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cortex never killed anyone, not even during his "serious" days. They both have alot in common. They are both evil scientists, want to conker the worl and their arch nemesis is a super powered/mutated animal. Plus they both used to be kick-ass villains beeing all serious and mean. (When Cortex was all serious and looked older and Eggman was the vile Robotnik with a deep voice *shudder*). Today they are more seen as jokes than evil villains.

I like both, cortex is genius and stupid at the same time and think he is so evil even tough he is kinda crybaby and eggman is genius and really mad, he have many traps in his battleships, and both are making huge battleships and huge robots under 1 month.

Personally I pick Cortex cuz he's just awesome. Plain dumb now thanks to Sierra and what they've done to the franchise. I love the Crash Twinsanity one. Eggman is just.....

I like the style used for both characters - it makes them look like their from the same game or something. :>
Evil mad scientists are more funny than evil to me. Maybe if they did some movie cliche' like killing their own men to show how evil they are or glancing around slyly, then they would be seen as evil.

Neo Cortex rocks! I've been a Crash Bandicoot fan since I was about eight, when my cousin first got a Playstation. I loved the little tiki-mask thingys.
