Description
This one is a great whopper of a nightmare. Ugh.The scanner is not working properly and I had to SKEW everything myself to make it look all straight and stuff. Lupin's robes make me cry and I don't even want to think about Harry.
Thanks to ~mal-am [link] for reminding Harry to wear his glasses. LOL
All characters to J.K. Rowling.
Edit: This would never have happened in the book, because Harry was facing the veil then and Lupin was pulling him away from it. The movie, on the other hand....
I love Helena Bonham-Carter...

D: I'm torn between whether I should think 'ohmigosh I wish this had happened, how CUTE! x3' and 'holy cow if that had happened that book may well have killed me x.x'
I'm not sure which is right. xD
But this is awesome all the same. x3 Love Remi's 'bodybuilding' comment. XDD
And Sirius with his tea.

Yay, you noticed that bodybuilding comment! Haha.
Don't get me wrong, though. I do like Remus. I just thought it would be funny if this did happen. Haha.

Would've prefered Sirius not have died at all, but yes, if that ing veil had to show up and Sirius absoultely had to die (something JKR has yet to really explain why) and everything, this is what should've happened next instead of what JKR did to Remus in the next two books.

lol. I was kind of happy (hell, I was really happy) when Remus died in the last book. I love Remus and all, and I would have to respect Rowling's decision to marry him off to someone even when he's got enough shit to deal with on his own without a family to worry about, but well, Remus and marriage just doesn't go well together (as he had proved in the last book, too)
Sirius was in a stalemate, though, and it was either do or die for him. I like it that he died while fighting, but I would have liked it better if he didn't die at all, too.
PS. I read half of Deathly Hallows in a bus and choked when I read about Remus' marriage. UGH. Last thing I expected from him. XD

I love how Sirius is drinking tea right after he died. x3

Nah. I love Remus. But he was just pathetic in DH. Until that last scene where he was dead, anyway.

Well, he was dead, so that really didn't count. He wasn't doing anything.
I remember the DH Uberwank on LJ coming up with the theory he'd become a raging alcoholic and was stoned out of his mind when he agreed to marry Tonks. A plausible hypothesis, but the last two books aren't part of my personal canon. I got rewrites to do!!
I think he'd make an excellent father, if under the right circumstances. For example, my canon involves Remus being the father to Tonks and Hestia Jones's baby (who is Teddy), and Sirius coming back to life (Regulus too) and when Tonks and Hestia die an honourable, non-Sue, Boromir-like death, they raise him and become DADA and Trasfigration teachers when McGonagall becomes headmistress!!

I wish. I think the last two were written by her evil twin sister Alison! (see The Conspiracy Theory thread on BL)
And Harry and Ginny are made plausible, Harry and Draco have proper subtext, Dumbledore isn't dead and the Trio go to Avalon. I was supposed to be writing it with Tinocka, but I might have to do it by myself. She's pretty busy, what with all her original stuff...

Oh, boo hoo. Really (warning: rant ahead)... I don't
ing care about that stupid little brat and wish JKR had left the very idea of Remus/Tonks procreating at all to bad fanfiction where it belongs (if anywhere). I see no reason I should love that thing and don't get why so many, even those who hate R/T, are otherwise die-hard Remus/Sirius shippers, had been hoping post-HBP-pre-DH that R/T wouldn't get married and procreate, and in the past may have hated, winced at, or whatever the idea of R/T having a kid together are so in love with JKR's dignification of the disturbing "multi-colored werewolf pup" notion that was rampant amongst R/T fans for a while. Especially the way that thing's mere conception, if not the very obviously forced and fake euphoria from Remus (after he didn't seem to want it earlier, mind, and after he only went back to Tonks because Harry yelled at him) is often thrown in the faces of R/S shippers. The whole thing was just contrived, and again I see no reason to love the bizare R/T bi-product since it's not like that waste of words on a page had any real personality, major role, or anything such that JKR dignifying that pairing by making it canon and ruining both Remus and Tonks as individuals could be forgiven.

There is also the fact that Rowling might have wanted a character who lost his parents in a battle against Voldemort and got brought up by his relatives, but in a better and more peaceful world. I don't really want to go into the whole tying up the loose ends thing, because I don't believe in that and I think it should be left to writers like Jane Austen and the Brontes (I like them but you know, we're in the 21st century), but there we go.
I think what some R/S shippers are trying to do is to salvage some sort of er, reason for R/T. I am disgustingly numb as to the whole Lupin family fiasco because I don't want to think of Lupin doing anything like what happened in DH, but I do have to accept the fact that Lupin got married and had a kid. Teddy Lupin is HIS son, and I think it would be disrespectful to Lupin (granted he's a fictional character) for me to brush off either Tonks or Teddy because I happened to think Rowling was being trigger happy with the love arrows.
So while I'm not bouncing up and down about this whole thing, I realized that Teddy's a halfblood, a halfbreed and a metamorphmagus. Everyone's welcome to their opinion, but Teddy DOES have to be strong for his own sake, and I like it that he sounds like he is getting along fine, even with all those things already in his plate.

Paragraph 1) I guess so... but still... *glares at Tonks... but huggles Teddy*
Paragraph 2) Stupid JK Rowling. I mean, I totally worship her for creating the Marauders (Minues Peter... DAMN HIM TO HELL! ) but seriously. TONKS?! With REMUS?! What is she like... 10 years younger than him? 20? AND SHE WAS SIRIUS'S COUSIN! SERIOUSLY! WTF WAS SHE THINKING?! *glares at JK Rowling*
Paragraph 3) You're exactly right.

Bring on the rants! (lol, I love reading R/S shippers talk about R/T. It's because R/T is retarded that makes the whole thing so sad.)
For the record, Tonks became a totally weak character after she fell *in love* or whatever. If I was more of a feminist that I am, I'd totally say she should've dumped Remus and got on with her life. As it is, both Remus and Tonks' character development CRASHED down after they got married, so even if I wasn't an R/S shipper, I would have hated R/T to bits for the sole reason that they're just NOT GOOD TOGETHER.
R/T shippers are really lazy, too. All they have to say to back up their sad pairing is the fact that Rowling said so and it's canon. Which is sad.
I don't have anything against Tonks, or Teddy Lupin or even Remus himself, but all of them (especially Sirius) deserved more than they got. As it is, let's just be happy that Remus seemed happy to have a son, Tonks got what she supposedly wanted and Sirius is still with Remus in the afterlife.
