Ummm...

I think it could sound a little more like:

"Great! That insolent dectective has torn out a piece from one of the papers we found at the crime scene..."
"She has no right to handle our evidence like that!"
"I am sorry, but you are not allowed to..."
"Show me; what did she tear out?"

And, yeah.

English is fiendishly tricky. (i'm still promising to learn more languages too...)

Yes it is! English grammar differs so much from russian! But nevertheless english is more progressive language because it can create sentences with the same meaning using less words and letters... they say that after learning english learning another language is much easier. So you have an advantage already And what language would you like to learn?

I'm currently taking audio Spanish lessons; if that method works, I'll jump into French, German, and eventually Russian. ^~
