I arrived here thanks to a fan-fic story, possibly the one referred to below. I don't know what triggered your painting but it captures the essence of what Rose has become: and an echo of the image of the idealised girl who haunted the musical comedy stage fifty years ago and possibly the imagination of the youth in that more innocent age.
