Bennett Cassidy's Cafe of Crystal Delights

Deep within the winding, glimmering shard-cobble streets of the Crystal Bazaar is a narrow alley shaded by colorful and tattered draperies from above. In most times of the year, it sits empty, the location of shady dealings by twilight and temporary reprieve from the magiteck sunlight of Cor Ionas.

Rumor has it that on the turn of Aethersong, at the very end of this alley, a mysterious door appears. Trimmed with gold and sporting elegant carvings in its waxed hardwood surface, it looks better suited to the high streets -- and it bears only the name, "Bennett Cassidy's Crystal Delights." If one peers deeply into the carvings, the playful, twisting shapes of aetherlings seem to pop out of the details, beckoning you inside...

One cannot peer into the door from the outside, seeing only a shimmering veil...but stepping inside takes you to another realm entirely. A realm only the size of a humble but elegant cafe. The interior is well-lit by lamplight, a warm and cozy reprieve from the Aethersong chill. A rouge-coated aetherling rushes about, taking orders at a tiny bakery that smells of fresh, sweet macarons. And at the back of the cafe, framed in flickering lanterns against the wall, is a menu displaying only various numbers and names of drinks of all kinds. A tall and handsome Manu - a Manu, right? - stands there, dressed to the nines in a suit and ruffled white cravat. He twirls his handlebar mustache and adjusts gold-rimmed spectacles as he hands numbered cards to each incoming guest. They appear to be free of charge...suspicious. What on earth could they mean?

Once seated at the lounge, each guest is served a hot cup of tea or coffee by a waiting aetherling. The drink seems to appear normal at first, until one takes the first sip...and a tiny bean emerges!

Rules This is an advent calendar: the numbers on each design correspond to the dates in Aethersong (December) when the full Bean or Aetherling will be revealed! Here are the guides to Beans and Aetherlings:

  Numbers 1-22 are Beans, or baby aetherlings! They are a flatsale and first-come-first-serve. Their prices and features are listed below.
Numbers 23-25 are full-grown Aetherlings. They are auctions with details listed below. To bid, please reply to the featured comments listed in each design's description!
When claiming, please comment below with the date or name of the design you desire! No more than 3 beans may be claimed by one person (includes proxies!). This does not apply to full-grown aetherlings.
Don't edit your comments if your claim is taken, please comment again with your new claim to avoid confusion!
After your claim is confirmed, please note the designer of your Bean for payment details! Payment should be made within 48 hours of your claim or it will be forfeited.
Beans may be grown into adult Aetherlings by the owner or commissioned by another artist!
The Essence of Beans and Aetherlings may be chosen by the owner! When your design goes onto the masterlist, please comment with your essence choice to confirm it. Once confirmed, the essence is locked in.
