I think I finally found a design of Zilla that I’m ACTUALLY proud of and enjoy drawing. His radioactive shocks emit from his back spines and his skin thins at his rib cage as well as across the sides of his neck just between the plates, also emitting the iconic neon-green glow. THIS Zilla is one I hope the improve the original on. I love the original, don’t get me wrong. But one thing is for sure that we can all agree on: he’s weak. For crying out loud, he DIED. Godzilla is NOT SUPPOSED. TO DIE. So I’m hoping that with a few more pieces I can share what my interpretation of Godzilla is from inspiration of more current versions, while also staying true to the Manhattan local’s appearance. Somewhat. I like the dinosaur-esk more slender lizard like version of him. Again, it’s all my opinion.
