Description
My first in a series of birds and fences. This is more about the concept of a fence being a barrier for most things, but to birds they are a useful tool and not a barrier of any kind.
I know there are lots of flaws with this, but overall I like the feel expression.
Thank you for viewing and please comment if you like it, too!!

It's very nice Leah. The soft warm colours in the background really make bird stand out like it's almost in a dream state. It doesn't matter that some parts aren't perfect but I think it provides character and that roughness is juxtaposed with the soft and fluffy 'feel' of the picture.

A dream state...I like that! I am still working on the idea of how fences are no barrier for birds, and how they actually mock them by using them to their advantage. I feel I could make a good series out of it one day, in my spare time. whenever that will be. Thank you for such a great comment too!

The fence really caught my eye and the detail in the bird is stunning.

Great job. The bird's feet look like they are two different colors, but other than that I wouldn't change anything. I love how the feathers turned out.

Thank you. It's always nice to know when your work is good enough to fool someone into thinking it's a photo even for a moment.

me too! I am trying to figure out how many to do and if I should put some balance or color harmony in the others or just go for it and not worry about those things. lol I didn't know there was going to be so much to think about!

I have a feeling you should start out by just going for
it and see if some structure presents itself in the process.
My two cents worth.

Your two cents means a lot! Thank you so much. I think that might be the best way to go. Less stress too.
