Ok after feeding my self with good old digimon nostalgia I wanted to do one of those what if pictures. What if Jeri was rescued by Beelzemon? I actually wouldnt have mined to see that. What do you guys think?Related content

I actually kinda wish he had saved her. Seriously, I almost started crying when he nearly got killed...I don't think I would've minded either.

She does accept his help in the manga adaption tho, but the flying polygons of death get him before she can grab his band.

Right after the hole closed, and she was all "No!" I was all, "WELL THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN HIS HAND!!"
Then Beelzemon got hit and started to die at the end and I freaked out so much that I cried and couldn't sleep that night.

I have been looking for an art piece of this scene. Great artwork, the detailing on his costume is fantastic. And though I really wanted to see her take his hand, from the stand point of her character arc, she couldn't. She needed to come to grips with her demons first.

Interesting. Not to say Jeri would have been BETTER to be tortured MORE by the Reaper, but she still wouldn't have defeated her inner demons with Calumon's help at this point after her despair and self loathing came to a head when she tried to commit suicide via strangling herself. And of course Calumon's great line in the dub, "Don't listen to that rag!"
Of course now she'd have her friends, teammate and family with her to try and snap her back to reality.
But the D-Reaper at this point might consider Jeri to be a part of itself, and call her back to it because without her the reaper is now incomplete.
As far as artistically, you can't help but admire this image, the way you get the style of the show down pat, and the expressions and designs are perfectly down and yet is clearly your own work.

Thanks for the complement^^ I did try my best. Jeri was annoying at that point. But I kinda did live in her shoes... Ya I thought no one liked me and I thought I was useless u know. So i understood how she felt.
