why is Lucille's face so weird to draw?? also...doesn't Franc's head starting to look....square-sh?Tried to see if I could pick up some French with some online stuff. why are there so many silent letters? like the French word for violet. I looks nothing like how it sounds!doodles 1 is in the scraps if you're wondering where it is. XD

Just out of curiosity: I can plainly see Pok doesn't speak French, but given his western backround, is there a slight chance he knows a bit of Spanish?
I guess the answer will most likely be "nope".
Matt, on the other hand, I can easily picture him being fluent in French AND Spanish. (The latter being from his misadventure with Francoeur and the "Thanksgiving cake", when he accidentally said "hola" to Lucille.)

I dont know too many honestly but I just know that some of the chinese came over to finds some work and they were treated poorly. I dont think I heard of the spiny leaf! sounds interesting though!

It's no surprise that Chinese immigrants weren't treated nicely in those days. 
I suppose that's the only down-side of the past: people didn't know how to treat other people nicely.
