Welp, since we are starting pride month I want to be open about how tired I am about the conservatives and their religious hysteria against the LGBTQ+ community, I am specially tire of all the hate speech against trans people I´ve been seen recently and the persistent fight to strip them of their rights.

If you live long enough you end up realizing that conservatives always recycle the same discourse against minorities regardless if we are talking about race, biological sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. and even tho they never truly stop discriminating against everyone it looks like they chose a favorite target to shit on in particular that they swap from time to time.

Lets put it this way:

starts a new electoral cycle, conservatives focus their campaign being bigoted against people of color, gullible people get convinced, reasonable people calls them out, they start losing support, they quiet down for a while but keep doing shit in a more "discrete" way. Stars another electoral cycle, conservatives change their main target, now it´s immigrants, gullible people are convinced, others call them out, conservatives pipe down, New cycle, now they are mainly attacking the gays, they get called out, they shut up. and now, on the actual present day, the main target it´s trans people.

once they pick their main target for the season they proceed to preach their pseudo neutral discourse were they pretend to be the rational side even tho they only know how to appeal to fear and anger. And regardless of the target they always try to shoe horn this staple points:

*The target wants to destroy you/us
*The target is plotting to destroy our society and traditional family values
*the target is violent/perverted and it´s a threat to our women/our children
*We are not bigoted, we are justified by the word of god and by (outdated/inaccurate/made up) science

and that´s it, regardless of actual facts, because they don´t need to do much to convince their main audience. said audience it´s predispose to listen no matter how hateful and nonsensical the speech gets because conservatives as a group are conformed by two kinds of people old people that failed to adapt with the time and therefore can´t cope with the world and it´s progress, and edgy young people that want to be coddle, people that want to be told that their shitty opinions and behavior are ok, that others are just sensitive and that there is no need to take accountability for their actions.

conservatives are full of people that are perfectly capable to throw the human rights of others under the bus for their own selfish comfort and a faux sense of superiority, conservatives don´t want reason, they want excuses, they are a threat to progress, religious freedom and democracy and I am really sick of them.

I don´t believe that respect must be earned, I think that we should treat strangers with civility and respect as the default if we want to live in a better and more civilized world. But I do thing that respect can be withdraw once you know the person´s values and actions, and as far as I´m concerned if you are a conservative you don´t deserve my respect.

If you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community that discriminates against the trans members of the community and thinks that the LGB should be separated from the TQ+ then let me remind you that we have this community thanks to trans women of color (source:www.usatoday.com/story/opinion… )

No matter if you like it or not, Trans people are the heart of this community and if the trans go down eventually we all go down, I think you are a spinless coward and a hypocrite for not supporting the most vulnerable members of this community and as far as I am concerned you don´t deserve my respect either.

And to POC conservatives, I´m aware that you exists, and I think that you are a living breathing oxymoron, you can´t change my mind about this. Go kiss Calvin Candie´s ass, Stephen.
